As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our rooms are cleaned to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Supervise: Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring that service standards are followed and that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Coaching and Counseling: Provide on-the-spot coaching and counseling as needed to ensure that all standards of cleanliness are being upheld.
  • Guest Concerns: Handle guest concerns and react quickly to ensure that memorable moments are created for our guests.
  • Communication: Ensure that colleagues are informed daily about priorities to personalize service.
  • Training and Development: Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up, and department meetings. Report necessary maintenance items. Serve as backup and support to Room Attendants, House persons, and other Housekeeping roles when needed. Train new housekeeping employees.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspections of cleaned and vacant rooms to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
  • Housekeeping Experience: Experience in a Housekeeping environment is an asset.
  • Service Focus: Service-focused personality is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual (English & Spanish) is an asset.
