Faculty Position in Physical Therapy Education

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Institute for Physical Therapy Education as a tenure track professor in physical therapy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and research, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in physical therapy education settings.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in the entry-level DPT program, developing and delivering curriculum that is current and engaging for students.
- Contribute to curriculum development that fosters an inclusive teaching and learning environment.
- Engage in scholarly work related to physical therapy, advancing professional practice through innovative research and presentations.
- Participate in university, college, and institute committees, as well as academic events and student recruitment activities.
- Assist in the accreditation process, preparing documents and supporting site visits.
- Earned degree in physical therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Completed or anticipated timely completion of a terminal doctoral degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in physical therapy education settings.
- Evidence of professional development in teaching and learning.
- Knowledge of working with an interprofessional healthcare team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication abilities.
- 5+ years of teaching experience in the academic setting.
- Preferred in-depth knowledge of adult cardiopulmonary and/or neurologic physical therapist practice/scientific knowledgebase.
