This role is integral to the Energy Investment Banking Group, where you will significantly contribute to the reservoir engineering and acquisitions/divestitures (A&D) division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precision and quality assurance in engineering assessments
  • Employ sophisticated engineering evaluation tools for financial forecasting
  • Act as a representative in client engagements and data gathering initiatives
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements and essential evaluation challenges in the industry
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet project timelines

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with oil and gas operational standards, regulations, and machinery
  • Experience in reservoir engineering tasks and project financial analysis
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access software
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities, with a capacity for independent work
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities under stringent deadlines
  • Working knowledge of ARIES and/or PHDWin software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in acquiring oil and gas data from industry databases
  • Understanding of oil & gas land agreements and reservoir formations
  • Familiarity with geology related to oil and gas and evaluation software

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in A&D activities is advantageous
