Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN or LVN) to join our team at Becker Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing delegated aspects of direct patient care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical examination and data collection, ADLs, education, medication administration, peripheral IV therapy, discharge planning, and implementation of physician's orders.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
  • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS certification
  • IV certification (can be general)
  • Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility
