Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Trinity Hospital. As a Physical Therapist in our acute care setting, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from illness or injury.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in our ICU, PCU, NICU, and Labor and Delivery units.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery and independence.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • ACLS certification for ICU, PCU, NICU, and Labor and Delivery units.
  • BLS certification for all RN, LPN, PT, OT, Poly, RT positions.
  • PALS certification as required for applicable units.
  • NRP certification as required for others.
  • Tech Cert Verification - National certification for MLT/MT's/HT, Sleep Tech/Polysonographer, Respiratory Therapist.
  • State License 1 Verification certification for relevant practices.
  • NURSYS Verification certification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
  • NIH Stroke Certification annually.
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment required.
