Job Summary

The Software Developer, Procure to Pay IT Products will be responsible for developing and configuring back-end services product solutions, adhering to coding best practices and standards. This role will also involve maintaining legacy mainframe purchasing systems and ensuring that all functionality and capabilities meet the needs of a broad range of customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and configure back-end services product solutions
  • Maintain legacy mainframe purchasing systems
  • Ensure that all functionality and capabilities meet the needs of customers, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to enable optimal performance
  • Conduct research of emerging technologies and industry practices
  • Make recommendations regarding best practices and technologies for adoption
Requirements
  • Three years of experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems, software development, or related field
  • Proven experience as an application developer in developing and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications
  • Advanced experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums
  • Advanced experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms
  • Experience developing and executing complex test plans
  • Ability to adapt and integrate with modern technologies
  • Strong understanding of mainframe development tools and languages, such as COBOL, JCL, CICS
  • Knowledge of mainframe development methodologies, best practices, and design patterns
  • Demonstrated software repository skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to establish and advance positive working relationships
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Able to participate in activities to advance an inclusive environment
  • Thinks creatively and introduces innovations
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, public administration, business administration, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience/training

Work Schedule

8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. PT, Monday through Friday and/or variable based upon operational needs
