This dynamic, mid-level role presents an exciting opportunity for professional advancement while undertaking the following responsibilities:
- Manage and direct designated products/projects, including the rollout of new, supplementary, and/or distinctive manufacturing product lines and production initiatives.
- Accountable for developing cost estimates, project timelines, and engaging in contract formulation, interpretation, and negotiation, as well as determining facility, equipment, tooling, and workforce needs.
- Oversee significant modifications to product lines/projects and manufacturing initiatives to ensure adherence to technical, cost, and scheduling benchmarks.
- Act as the primary liaison among Division Program management, Production, Quality, Finance, Planning, Supply Chain, and clients to guarantee effective execution of product line/project strategies.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to adopt innovative technologies and processes, while organizing facilities, processes, and resources necessary to fulfill specific project or program objectives.
- When applicable, track cost and schedule performance in alignment with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- Engage in evaluating plant capabilities and exploring new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience; significant experience with products and processes may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret security clearance is necessary.
- Project management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision is preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are desired.
- A collaborative mindset to support customer and manufacturing needs is essential.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in both office and manufacturing environments, which may include:
- Exposure to dust, fumes, oils, mists, adhesives, and high noise levels.
- Utilization of ladders and stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Working in varying temperature conditions.
