Principal Data Scientist AI

Apexon is seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Scientist AI to join our team in Seattle, WA. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy advanced machine learning models using Snowflake, Databricks, Python, and R to solve complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate models with pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
  • Implement MLOps frameworks to automate deployment and model retraining, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Utilize big data from cloud platforms (Snowflake) to derive insights and develop predictive models that drive business growth.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to provide data-driven solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Continuously optimize models for performance and scalability, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on large-scale model development and deployment.
  • Proficiency in machine learning models with large datasets (Snowflake, Databricks) and a strong understanding of MLOps and production model deployment.
  • Advanced skills in Python and R, with experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, algorithms (regression, classification, clustering), and proficiency with SQL, PySpark, and data tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience driving data science projects from concept to deployment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in telecom or similar data-intensive industries.
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience in NLP or time series forecasting.
