Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, maintain, and operate manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal speed and efficiency.
  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on machines to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct various tests, adjustments, cleaning, and verification of machines to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Produce shop orders and ensure that necessary materials and supplies are available.
  • Communicate effectively with other department employees and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to train on first shift and work on any shift after training is completed.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with PLC-controlled machinery and HMI programming/settings.
  • Ability to complete essential physical functions, including lifting up to 50-80lbs, consistent standing, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to follow food and safety guidelines.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus, but not required.
