Psychiatric Services Provider

- A skilled Psychiatrist will contribute to a multi-disciplinary team delivering psychiatric and related services at Wheeler Clinic.
- Collaborative treatment planning and implementation are essential components of this role.
- Opportunities exist to work in one or more of the Clinic's programs.
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations, developing diagnoses and treatment plans that address individual client needs.
- Identify and respond to clinical emergencies, implementing necessary safety protocols to ensure client well-being.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Meet productivity goals and adhere to established practice standards.
- Board Certification or eligibility in the field of medicine.
- Current licensure as a physician in Connecticut, along with DEA and controlled substance registration.
- Expertise in psychopathology, behavioral concerns, and therapeutic interventions.
