Job Summary

MIGRA Ascension Genesys Hosp-12018 is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Medical-Surgical Tele Float RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • Licensure verification for Michigan hospitals
  • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required
  • Annual Fit Test required
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination
  • Influenza Vaccine required annually
  • Proof of Chest X-Ray for positive TB cases and Annual TB Questionnaire
  • Completed physical exam or Statement of good health annually
  • Driver's License/State ID for proof of primary residency
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA test within specific time frames
  • Varicella immunity proof or vaccination series
  • Tdap valid for 10 years
  • Professional references and Ascension Profile
  • Background checks and other legal clearances
  • Drug Screen 12 Panel test according to specific requirements
  • Occupational health and safety training and tests
