Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance services, installations, and repairs in various skill areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, including pumps, engines, and valves.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine repairs needed.
  • Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing devices.
  • Perform facility maintenance and repair, including replacing light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and damaged glass.
  • Operate vehicles for plant operational purposes.
Work Environment

You will spend 100% of your time in the operations environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor and inclement weather. You may be required to travel for company-provided training and serve rotational 24-hour emergency on-call.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
