Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, Tennessee.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will work under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients with personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
  • Support patients with mobility and transfer needs
  • Assist with phlebotomy and other medical procedures
  • Document patient care and vital signs in medical records
Qualifications:
  • Tennessee CNA license or ability to obtain license
  • Phlebotomy Certification
  • Current CPR
  • One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
  • Corrections experience not required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
