Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Lodge Kohler. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing basic facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance inspections to ensure the functional reliability of our facilities and optimal performance of building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and services for specified equipment, machinery, and systems throughout our facilities.
  • Perform simple repairs to buildings or equipment as requested through work orders, and provide assistance to more experienced technicians as needed.
  • Monitor assigned external areas of our facilities for safe and functional use by patrons.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills, knowledge, and background related to our facilities.
  • Maintain accurate preventative maintenance inspection reports, work schedules, backlog, and completed work order reports.
  • Recommend ordering of maintenance spare parts and materials for repairs and/or inventory.
  • Maintain storage areas in an orderly manner in compliance with all building fire and safety codes.
  • Communicate regularly with the maintenance department and next shift to pass along information and ensure follow-up and awareness.
Requirements
  • High school graduate.
  • Additional technical training in mechanical, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, tiling, pools, and/or plumbing preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled trade position.
  • Motivated tradesmen capable of working independently with little supervision.
