Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Surgical Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting surgical procedures by assisting in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that are vital for successful surgical outcomes. The Surgical Technology Specialist will also be responsible for preoperative and postoperative tasks to enhance patient care and will work under the guidance of the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgical procedures by providing technical support to the surgical team.
  • Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain inventory and assist with stocking supplies in the surgical area.
  • Deliver compassionate care to maternity patients during their surgical experience.


Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Experience in an Operating Room setting is advantageous.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NCCT or NBSTSA is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
