Job Title: Managed SIEM Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Managed SIEM Architect to join our team at Proficio. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Splunk SIEM solutions for our clients.

Job Summary

The Managed SIEM Architect will work closely with our clients to understand their security needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing Splunk SIEM solutions, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the continued security and effectiveness of our clients' systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Splunk SIEM solutions for clients
  • Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the continued security and effectiveness of clients' systems
  • Collaborate with our global team of Splunk Architects, Admins, and Developers to execute Splunk implementations
  • Define work scope, bundle work scope for team assignment, and review/revise work completed overnight
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering and supporting large-scale Splunk (ES) environments
  • Strong event logging solutions for large corporations is preferred
  • Experience with multiple security platform administration or engineering within large-scale or global enterprises combined
  • Understanding of Network Firewalls, Load-balancers, and complex network designs
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, good command on Python, Perl, SQL, Regex, and Shell scripting is preferred
  • Certifications such as Splunk Accredited Implementation Fundamentals, Splunk Accredited Core Implementation, Splunk Accredited Consultant, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, and Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin are highly desired
