Inbound Freight Handler

A. Duie Pyle is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Inbound Dockworker for our terminal operations. The primary responsibility of our freight handlers is to ensure the safe transfer of goods onto and off trailers while accurately verifying all related documentation through both electronic and manual systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently loading and unloading freight from trailers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
- Picking, staging, and securing freight within trailers to guarantee safe transportation.
- Utilizing a document management system to monitor and track freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
- Engaging with terminal personnel and drivers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Maintaining a customer service-oriented approach in all interactions.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience with forklifts or material handling equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in warehousing, freight handling, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to adhere to all company and governmental safety regulations.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English for effective communication.
