About the Role

As a Member Services Representative at Planet Fitness, you will be the face of our brand, interacting daily with members and prospective members. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing front desk activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Main Tasks:
  • Provide top-notch customer service, greeting members and guests warmly and efficiently.
  • Manage phone calls, check members into the system, and process new member sign-ups and tours.
  • Facilitate account updates, respond to member inquiries, and provide timely solutions to issues.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized club, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
  • Customer service experience in a retail or hospitality setting, preferably.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn our systems quickly.
  • A genuine interest in fitness and health, with a desire to support others in achieving their wellness goals.
  • A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial, as you will be working varied shifts and contributing to a dynamic team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to adapt to changing situations.
  • Diplomatic communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; candidates must be at least 18 years old.

The estimated salary for this position is $48,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
