Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests promptly, responding to their questions and concerns, and assisting them with their video gaming needs.
- Sales and Merchandising: Support the Store Manager in driving sales and achieving sales goals by creating a sales culture, building sales through product knowledge, and promoting GameStop's unique guest benefits.
- Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking merchandise, processing transactions, and managing inventory.
- Leadership and Development: Supervise and develop Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, providing feedback, coaching, and training to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or accredited bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred; at least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
- Skills: Possess an outgoing and welcoming personality, strong people skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team, meet performance expectations, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
