Job Overview

Position: Fabric Mender

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a well-established organization in the Personal Protection sector.


Role Summary:
  • Compensation: $17.25 per hour
  • Shift: 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm.
  • Responsible for inspecting and mending fabrics with holes and tears.
  • Duties include patching holes, sewing tears and ripped seams, or darning defects using needles, thread, or sewing machines.
  • Attach labels and emblems for identification purposes.
  • Repair holes by weaving thread over them.
  • Operate in well-lit environments to easily spot defects and ensure high-quality fabric processing.
  • Utilize industrial sewing machines for repairs.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in laundry or textile repair.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Must adhere to all safety policies.
