Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Take radiologic films to provide quality images to physicians for diagnosis of medical problems.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging and select exposure factors accurately.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent patient exposure to unnecessary radiation.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Sonographer.
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
