Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Pacifica Senior Living Oceanside. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a delightful dining experience for our residents.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in cooking for senior residents, with excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations. You will be responsible for designing and planning nutritious menus, preparing meals according to recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

• Develop and implement innovative menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
• Prepare and cook high-quality meals, ensuring presentation standards meet our expectations.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare professionals to ensure meals meet specific dietary restrictions.

• Proven experience as a cook in a similar culinary environment, preferably within a senior living community or healthcare setting.
• Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to create and prepare high-quality meals.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Experience in volume-batch cooking and using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• High School diploma or equivalent; a diploma from a culinary school is an advantage.
