Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rocky Point Care Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and rehabilitation services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients to help them achieve their maximum potential for independence and functionality.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and rehabilitation services.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living and rehabilitation.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current, active license as an Occupational Therapist, and ability to practice unencumbered.
  • Experience in long term care preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide care to patients with varying levels of physical and cognitive abilities. The Occupational Therapist must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
