About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Kansas City as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering radioactive materials for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Operating imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Documenting and reporting results to healthcare providers.
- Traveling to various healthcare facilities as needed.
Requirements:
- A current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification and state license.
- Experience in nuclear medicine is preferred, especially in travel roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different healthcare settings.
- A willingness to travel frequently.
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on industry standards and location.
