Job Title: Medical Imaging Technologist

Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join their team in Oakland, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Technologist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Conduct imaging procedures, including taking images, adjusting equipment settings, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Review and analyze images to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
