Compensation: $33.00 per hour
Company Overview: Hilton Tool LLC is a leading manufacturer specializing in precision machined components. We focus on producing high-tolerance parts, assemblies, and prototypes, as well as managing production runs.
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM. An additional hourly rate increase of $1.50 for swing shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive plans to manufacture components according to technical specifications.
- Interpret and analyze production process documentation and engineering drawings to fully understand requirements.
- Prepare and configure machinery necessary for each phase of the manufacturing workflow.
- Install tools and fixtures, load materials into machines, and set necessary offsets.
- Adjust X, Y, and Z offsets in machine controls.
- Read, interpret, and modify G&M code as required.
- Oversee the production process, employing critical thinking to resolve issues as they arise.
- Conduct measurements throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform inspections of finished products according to engineering drawings.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Extensive knowledge of CNC machinery and operational controls.
- Deep understanding of machining techniques and processes.
- Proficient in machine shop tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating feeds and speeds.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols.
- Willingness to continuously improve skills and share knowledge with colleagues.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
