Nursing Director RN

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Director RN to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to our nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each resident are met.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Recruit, train, and develop our nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective use of technology.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience; at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/province and board of nursing requirements.
