Key Responsibilities
  • Perform startups, certifications, and preventative maintenance on battery systems related to Uninterruptable Power Supply systems.
  • Assist with battery replacements and new installations, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on batteries, adhering to strict safety procedures and protocols.
  • Interact effectively with internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Follow operational, maintenance, and emergency procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to critical facility work rules and safety procedures.
  • Operate hand and general maintenance tools and equipment, including company vehicles and specialized equipment.
  • Keep job sites clean and organized during replacement, installation, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with work in other service divisions as needed, including Switch Gear, Operations, HVAC, and others.
  • Work from schematic diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Learn to safely operate equipment, including company vans, trucks, and specialized tools.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Services Management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Elementary fix/repair techniques based on directed supervision.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn basic AC/DC theory, electronic components, and electronic circuitry.
