Position Overview

Robotics Systems Engineer

V R Della Infotech Inc. is seeking a skilled Robotics Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team.

Our engineers thrive in diverse environments, requiring a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to effectively address challenges as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a robust and recent background in at least two of the following robotic systems: Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka.
  • Capable of performing Advanced Programming in the two robotic systems in which they possess the most expertise; candidates with strong programming skills in one system will also be considered.
  • Experience in configuring and training on Vision Systems related to their primary robotic expertise is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in establishing various robot communication protocols (e.g., DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP).
  • Develop Robotic Simulations for robotic stations (if applicable).
  • Create and maintain Robot Software.
  • Load and configure Robot Programs and I/O settings.
  • Conduct Path Teaching.
  • Perform Vision Teaching as necessary.
  • Provide Debug Support in collaboration with the team.
  • Assist with Installation Start-Up processes.
  • Offer Production Support as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in robotics.
  • Ability to interpret Electrical and Pneumatic Schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Electrical systems.
  • Highly proficient in Robotic Path Teaching.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Cartesian coordinate system as it pertains to a robot's End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) and Frames/Work Objects, with the capability to teach such frames.
  • Experience with Vision Systems is advantageous.
  • Basic to intermediate programming skills in other languages (e.g., Visual Basic, C, or C++).
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting PLC programs is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Educational Background:

A degree in a related field (BSEE, BSEET, BS in Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechatronics, etc.) is preferred. Equivalent years of experience may substitute for formal education.
