Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at the Minnesota Merit System. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing intensive social work services for the protection, rehabilitation, and care of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex case investigations and evaluations to assess problems and determine appropriate types and methods of treatment.
  • Provide accurate documentation to ensure efficient delivery of client services, compliance with Agency/State/Federal regulations, and maximization of reimbursements for services.
  • Maintain and improve case management and social work skills, meeting educational requirements set by the Department of Human Services and Minnesota State Law.
  • Consult, collaborate, and participate in Agency team work and community/public contacts.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field.
  • Or a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license.
