DuBois Granite and Quartz LLC is seeking a skilled Stone Craft Specialist to transform large stone slabs into exquisite finished products.
This role is ideal for those who prefer hands-on work over desk jobs, offering the chance to be part of a dynamic, professional team while enjoying weekends and evenings free.
We are open to training candidates with the right foundational skills.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and various material handling tools alongside hand tools
- Manage the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Interpret and understand fabrication blueprints
- Adhere to established safety protocols
- Demonstrate attention to detail and follow directions accurately
- Maintain professionalism and adaptability
- Assist with product installations at client sites
- Handle and transport stone carefully to prevent damage
- Execute various edge designs and cutouts
- Hone and restore polished surfaces on marble and granite
- Shape stone according to specifications and templates
- Work efficiently while upholding high-quality standards
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role. The fabrication shop operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Installation teams will travel across regions, with workday length determined by installation site locations.
Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a passion for machinery operation and a commitment to producing high-quality products. This position is both physically demanding and intellectually engaging, requiring close collaboration with team members to ensure safety and efficiency.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to lift at least 80 pounds to waist height
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Consent to a background check
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with prior experience. All full-time employees are entitled to six paid holidays and 13 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually. DuBois Granite will supply necessary safety gear and clothing.
Reporting Structure:
The Stone Craft Specialist will report directly to the Fabrication Shop Manager.
