Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Transit Engineer/Project Manager to join our Transit & Rail practice. This role will be part of a design engineering team supporting various railroad and rail/bus transit projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and perform civil design on rail projects, including stations, track structure, and drainage.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
- Lead development of project deliverables and support the project development process.
- Perform inspections, evaluations, and assessments of rail and transit infrastructure.
- Prepare technical reports and analyses.
- Lead and assist in the development of construction bid documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8-11 years of experience in railroad or transit industry engineering design.
- Clear understanding of railroad and rail transit design requirements.
- PE License required.
