Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center - Burbank. As a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in various settings.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and process patient information, including medical history and test results
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in radiologic technology, with 1 year of recent experience in a specialty area
  • AHA BLS certification, ARRT certification, and advanced ARRT certification
  • Ability to float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
  • EPIC experience (no training provided)
  • LA Fire card must be obtained within 30 days (can be substituted)
Work Environment

This is a Per Diem position, working 8-12 hour shifts with a variety of shifts starting on different dates and times in August. The unit details include:

  • Adolescents, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Outpatient, inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU settings
  • Trauma L1-3
Additional Information

The charting system used is Epic. Candidates are responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty-specific modules, independently, before being cleared to work.
