Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp. As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for providing care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for sleep studies by setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting interviews to determine sleep disorder issues, and explaining testing procedures.
- Perform sleep studies and additional testing as required, scoring and interpreting results, and reporting findings to patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide education to patients about sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.
- Maintain and repair equipment, determining and reporting needed repairs and replacements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to ensure high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
