Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Screener to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a Health Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of health screenings at client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform biometric screenings, including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, and other health screening services based on service package.
  • Conduct basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
  • Participate in training and continuing education programs as necessary.
  • Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures, including the use of protective equipment when necessary.
  • Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of required regulations and comply with them.
  • Proficient with finger sticks and manual blood pressure.
  • Ability to understand and perform complex procedures and techniques, and work with complex instrumentation.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills, including access to internet and email.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Lift light to moderately heavy objects.
  • Requires use of phone and PC.
  • Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness.
  • Handling stress and emotions.
  • Concentrating on tasks.
  • Making decisions.
  • Adjusting to change.
  • Examining/observing details.
  • Sitting or standing for long periods at a time.
