We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Firewall Architect to support our global enterprise networks. Our team is responsible for designing, engineering, and transitioning customer network requirements to modern service provider network architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and mentor junior team members in firewall management and operation
  • Support mission-critical Continuity of Operations (COOP) by ensuring the security and reliability of our networks
  • Provide expert advice on managing and operating Palo Alto devices
Requirements:
  • TSA/SCI with Poly clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of experience or additional related years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Forcepoint, and Palo Alto firewalls in both engineering and operations roles
  • Strong knowledge of firewall concepts and best practices, including identifying misconfigurations, conflicting rules, security gaps, and optimizing rule-sets
  • Proficient understanding of the Cybersecurity Framework to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover within the Cyber Security Service Provider construct
  • Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Enterprise and tactical networks
  • Experience with DISA and DoD Networks
  • Expertise in Vendor Equipment and Networking/Cybersecurity technologies
  • Advanced Certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP or CASP
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $87,100 - $157,450 per annum. Leidos offers a competitive compensation package that includes benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
