Job OverviewThis is a day-to-night shift position available on a full-time, part-time, or per diem basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in electronic medical record systems.
Responsibilities- Monitor vital signs and interpret data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns.
- Administer medications and treatments according to the medical plan of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the treatment plan as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on heart health best practices and relevant home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in accordance with hospital policies.
- An Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing is required.
- A valid Registered Nurse license and at least 1 year of experience in cardiac telemetry or a similar setting are preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are necessary.
- The ability to interpret EKG rhythms and other cardiac monitoring techniques is essential.
