As an Emergency Services Physician with the United States Air Force, you will be the difference between life and death for Airmen and their families in critical medical situations.
With your expertise in immediate decision-making and treatment, you will stabilize patients and prevent further harm until they can receive further care.
Requirements
You must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathic medicine and one year of graduate medical education in a clinical specialty at a hospital
- Qualifications: Additional knowledge in aspects of injury and illness unique to the Air Force and its military mission, completion of an Emergency Services Physician course, acceptance by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and completion of Officer Training School course
- Age: Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 48th birthday
