Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and authorize manufacturing projects for production.
  • Ensure that Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs) are consistent with drawing updates.
  • Identify material requirements and compile lists of necessary hardware.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for processes such as heat treatment, stress relief, and surface coatings.
  • Examine incoming components for repair or refurbishment, including reverse engineering tasks.
  • Support the shop floor by addressing inquiries related to drawings, tolerances, and repair techniques.
  • Develop first article inspection documentation and assist the Quality Control Department with various inspection instruments.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is essential.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens due to compliance regulations.
  • Prior experience with ASME, ISO, OSHA, and AWS standards is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and drawing software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Excel) and AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
  • A foundational understanding of machining processes for steel and other metals is beneficial.
  • The ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and customer documentation is desirable.
