Job Title: Clinical Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for monitoring nursing care activities on the evening shift and providing administrative and supervisory support to our direct care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives information daily on residents and ensures they receive prescribed medications, diets, and treatments.
  • Assures residents are comfortable, clean, and well-groomed.
  • Investigates and reports incidents to regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Assists with admissions and provides oversight to the direct care team (RNs, LPNs, TMAs, and CNAs).
  • Completes performance evaluations for assigned team members.
  • Participates in on-call rotations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Possess a current, unencumbered Minnesota RN license.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in Long Term Care and nursing management.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people and promote a team philosophy.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities to develop and motivate people.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
