Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in 6.2 Applied Research, 6.3 Advanced Technology Development, or 6.4 Advanced Component Development and Prototypes for tactical communication R&D efforts, as outlined by the Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation.
• 5+ years of experience in the analysis, design, development, testing, and delivery of high-quality critical software applications.
• Proven experience in designing and developing software, integrating commercial or open-source software into projects, conducting thorough testing of software or systems for technologies to be integrated into current or future tactical or strategic networks, and developing technologies for Army tactical networks.
• Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering and its appropriate application.
• Knowledge of the research, design, development, testing, evaluation, and maintenance of software applications in an integrated manner.
• Understanding of the fundamentals and principles of artificial intelligence, information systems, networking, distributed processing, real-time controls, system of systems, web, cloud, modeling, or simulation.
• Proficiency in computer hardware, systems software, computer system architecture and integration, and mathematics, including data structures, algorithms, discrete models, and modern algebra.
• Ability to provide professional software or application development in various programming languages.
• Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree in a Computer Science or Electronics Engineering field.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually.

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
