Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team at Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families within the LA County Jewish community.
As a Community Support Specialist, you will provide crisis-intervention, preventative, and short-term case management and linkage, information & referral services to clients. You will also conduct in-depth intake and biopsychosocial assessments, identify and develop family and other informal support systems, and provide counseling and mental health services as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a related field, be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and possess prior experience providing mental health treatment. Knowledge of Jewish community, religion, and customs is also essential for success in this role.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
