About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Merchandising Specialist to join our team at W. Atlee Burpee Company. As a key member of our sales and merchandising team, you will be responsible for providing retail merchandising coverage within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain visually appealing displays and fixtures in retail stores
  • Organize and straighten merchandise displays to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Communicate with store management to ensure accurate inventory levels and reorders
  • Accurately complete weekly reporting and provide timely updates to management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store management and customers
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, including counting and itemizing unsold packets at the end of the season
  • Provide regular updates on retail activity to management
  • Perform additional merchandising activities as needed

Requirements:

  • Must have a smartphone with access to email and the internet
  • Ability to lift, load, push, and pull cartons weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, and squat while performing merchandising activities
  • Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
