About the RoleThis full-time position requires a dedicated and goal-oriented individual who can develop and provide specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students. The ideal candidate will regularly evaluate student progress while following mandated procedures and functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Specialized Instruction: Provide research-based instruction to address instructional goals and objectives contained within each student's IEP.
- Progress Evaluation: Assess student progress and determine the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional techniques.
- IEP Development: Develop and implement annual Individualized Educational Program plans for students, including present levels of educational performance, special education needs, and required services.
- Classroom Support: Establish a positive learning experience with an emphasis on individualized instruction using appropriate sources.
- Consultation: Provide consultation to classroom teachers regarding adaptions, instructional modifications, adaptive equipment, behavior modification plans, and other similar interventions.
- Collaboration: Actively participate in MTSS meetings for RTB and RTI initiatives.

The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and certifications. We require a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of elementary teaching experience working with SPED students, as well as fluency in English and Spanish languages.
