The Cardiac Catheterization Specialist is responsible for delivering technical expertise and patient care. This role involves continuous communication with the physician regarding patient status and assisting during both invasive and non-invasive procedures. The specialist will operate all necessary equipment safely and effectively, ensuring the procedure room is fully equipped and ready. Responsibilities also include procuring supplies for specific cases and meeting the needs of the Cardiac Catheterization team. Participation in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives is expected. The specialist is authorized to be present during medication administration.
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a favorable work-life balance with this position, which includes a minimal call requirement of only one weekend of back-up call per month. Additionally, there is an option for four 10-hour shifts per week.

- Completion of a formal 2-year radiologic technology program from an AMA-approved institution, meeting ARRT registry requirements
- Basic EKG training
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in Cardiac Catheterization and Radiology care
- ARRT certification in computed tomography; OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- State licensure as required
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification
