Position Overview
  • Specialty: Endoscopy
  • Discipline: RN
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Weekly Hours: 36
  • Duration: 13 weeks

Unit Details:
The Endoscopy unit comprises a total of 4 rooms, including 2 Endoscopy rooms, 1 Bronchoscopy room, and 1 ERCP room. The team consists of 9 staff members, including a charge nurse, staff nurses, and technicians.

Work Environment:
The unit operates with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. A positive attitude and a willingness to assist colleagues are essential traits for success in this role.

Required Skills:
Candidates must possess the following certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Additionally, experience in Endoscopy procedures and familiarity with EMR systems such as Meditech is preferred.

Typical Procedures:
The unit performs various procedures, including:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- ERCP
- EUS
- EBUS
- ION

Work Schedule:
Staff members are expected to work 8-10 shifts per month, which includes at least one weekend. On-call duties may be required.
