Patient Care Coordinator

Role Summary:
CareNow is seeking a Patient Representative to provide exceptional patient care and support in our urgent care clinics. As a Patient Representative, you will be responsible for checking-in patients, verifying insurance, and ensuring the occupational client's preference card is followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check-in patients in a timely manner and ensure all Web Check-in procedures are followed
- Answer phone calls to the clinic and provide information or refer questions to others as needed
- Verify insurance timely and accurately
- Ensure the occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures
- Review all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insure collection of necessary insurance/demographic information
- Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, including all forms of payment are accounted for and documented
Requirements:
- 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
- Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work with multiple computer programs
