Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings to support student learning and communication goals.
  • Provide Therapy Services: Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting to ensure student needs are met.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided to ensure accountability and quality of care.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology to provide the highest level of care to students.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Idaho State Licensure: Idaho State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Idaho Educational Staff Associate Certificate: Idaho Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
  • Experience Working with School-Aged Children: Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
