Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health therapy team. As a collaborative partner, you will play a vital role in facilitating patients' recovery journeys, enhancing quality of life, and optimizing functional capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient-Centered Care: Identify and meet patients' goals and needs, providing PT-assigned services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
  • Treatment Planning: Offer cost-effective treatments that improve clients' motion and mobility, reducing the need for medications and alternatives to surgery.
  • Care Coordination: Develop care plans using various treatment techniques and create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs.
  • Collaboration: Consult and practice with other health professionals, evaluate effects, monitor, and communicate progress.
  • Documentation: Document patient care services accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • PTA Certification for the state of TX
  • CPR Certification
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Home Health or Rehab experience preferred
  • Multi-disciplinary collaboration for patient care
  • Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments
