Assembly Technician Opportunity at Davis-Standard

Davis-Standard is a global leader in the design, development, and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our systems encompass product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately assemble and adjust equipment to meet precise specifications and tolerances.
  • Work from engineering specifications, blueprints, and general instructions to plan assembly procedures and methods.
  • Test complete products or subassemblies to ensure they meet exacting operating requirements.
  • Perform bench and floor assembly of complex mechanical and electrical-electronic control equipment.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Make suggestions for product improvement and detect faulty operation or defective material.
  • Follow standard safety regulations and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
Requirements:
  • High School or Technical School Diploma
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, piping, and use of hand and power tools
